The Kendal Group was formed by Daniel and Leo Gestetner in early 2003 with the aim of acquiring a number of Sports & Leisure brands.

In July 2003 Kendal made its first acquisition, Zoggs, the market leading Swim Equipment and Swimwear brand.

In October 2004 Kendal made its second acquisition, PureLime, the Women's Sportswear brand from Denmark.

The Kendal management team includes experienced Sports & Leisure and Consumer Goods industries executives and a first class team of non-executives with a variety of industry experiences.
